21 March 2025 - STA. MARIA, ROMBLON. The Philippine Statistics Authority-Romblon Provincial Statistical Office, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Sta. Maria, successfully distributed thirty (30) Certificate of Live Births in Security Paper (SECPA) under the Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP).

BRAP beneficiaries from the barangays of Bonga, Concepcion Norte, San Isidro and Paroyhog were catered at this distribution, which was held on 20 March 2025, at 3/F Municipal Bldg., Brgy. Concepcion Norte, Sta. Maria, Romblon.

Through the joint efforts of PSA and the Local Civil Registry Office of Sta. Maria, the project aimed to ensure that every individual had access to accurate birth records.

The successful event  was spearheaded by Municipal Vice Mayor of Sta. Maria, Hon. Roland Largueza and Municipal Civil Registrar Ms. Geraldine Visca, with PSA-Romblon Chief Statistical Specialist Engr. Johnny F. Solis and Registration Officer I Engr. Mariel V. Fallarcuna.

Delivering reliable and accessible civil registration services to all Filipinos is still the PSA's unwavering aim. Through the project's free SECPA copies, beneficiaries are assisted in obtaining vital documentation that is necessary to receive government services such as healthcare, education, and employment, etc.
