17 OCTOBER 2024 – CAIGANGAN, BUENAVISTA, MARINDUQUE. On 17 October 2024, PSO Marinduque, in partnership with the Buenavista Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO), successfully organized a BRAP Mobile Registration event in the barangay hall of Barangay Caigangan, Buenavista. This initiative aimed to enhance access to civil registration services for residents. 

BRC Shiela Mae D. Matining, along with Buenavista MCR Ujunneil V. Milambiling and his team, efficiently prepared birth certificates for individuals whose records were not available from the PSA database. Some of the registrants were born outside the province, and their documents will be forwarded to the appropriate PSO/LCRO for further processing.

In addition, Caigangan Punong Barangay Jonabeth Vitto and local officials actively supported the activity, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Barangay Secretary Francis Feriol made a significant contribution by providing the essential Barangay Certification and Certificate of Indigency, which are crucial for facilitating delayed registrations. To enhance the registration process, a comprehensive list of potential beneficiaries was compiled for verification against the PSA database, ensuring that those who require registration support are accurately identified and assisted. 

The event provided a convenient and welcoming setting for community members to register vital information, ensuring that they could easily fulfill their registration needs without traveling far. The collaborative effort underscored the commitment to improving civic engagement and empowering residents through accessible services. Overall, the mobile registration proved to be a valuable resource for the community, fostering greater participation in civil registration.
