17 March 2025- CALAPAN CITY, ORIENTAL MINDORO – The City of Calapan through the initiative of the City Civil Registrars Department (CCRD) headed by CCR Deo Mar Francis F. Mauro, successfully conducted the Kasalang Bayan 2025 on 16 March 2025 at the Calapan Recreational and Zoological Park Pavilion, Bulusan, Calapan City. A total of 17 couples exchanged their vows in front of the City Mayor of Calapan, Hon. Marilou Flores-Morillo who officiated the mass wedding activity.

The Philippine Statistics Authority is the agency concerned with carrying out, enforcing, and administering civil registration functions in the country. The Philippine Statistics Authority Provincial Statistical Office of Oriental Mindoro was invited by CCRD Calapan City to witness the special event and Registration Officer I Mirasol F. Cena served as one of the witnesses on behalf of Chief Administrative Officer and Officer-in-Charge Charlyn Romero-Cantos, PhD.
