Banana 

In the third quarter of 2024, banana production in Palawan declined by approximately 2.8 percent compared with the third quarter production in 2023. The total volume of production this quarter was estimated at 4,218.90 metric tons, decreased by 119.36 metric tons from the 4,338.26 metric tons output in the same period last year. 

Of the total banana production in Palawan for the third quarter of 2024, 78.6 percent of the output came from banana, saba. The remaining 21.4 percent was produced from varieties of lakatan, latundan, bungulan and others.

Calamansi 

The production of calamansi in Palawan increased by about 7.4 percent during the third quarter of 2024. The 66.33 metric tons total volume of production was about 4.59 metric tons higher than the 61.74 metric tons recorded output in the same quarter of the previous year.

Mango 

The mango production in the province in the third quarter of 2024 was recorded at 37.90 metric tons, which registered a decline of approximately 3.9 percent compared to the 39.45 metric tons harvested output during the same quarter of the previous year. 

Of the total mango production in province for the third quarter of 2024, 65.2 percent of the output came from mango piko while 34.8 percent came from carabao and mango others production. 

Pineapple

The production of pineapple in the province of Palawan declined by 5.4 percent in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the same quarter output in 2023. The total volume of production for this quarter was estimated at 18.93 metric tons, lower by 1.07 metric tons than the 20.00 metric tons recorded output in the same quarter of the previous year.
