MIMAROPA’s Exports of goods and services to rest of the world (ROW) sustained its growth by 11.3 percent in 2024, from the 37.4 percent growth in 2023. Gross capital formation, Government final consumption expenditure, and Household final consumption expenditure (HFCE) likewise grew in 2024 by 8.4 percent, 4.6 percent, and 3.8 percent, respectively. On the other hand, Imports of goods and services from ROW declined by 5.2 percent. (Figure 1)
 

 

The per capita HFCE of the region was recorded at PhP 110,146 in 2024, lower than the PhP 142,837 national per capita HFCE. (Figure 2)
