02 October 2024 – GASAN, MARINDUQUE. On 02 October 2024, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Marinduque Provincial Statistical Office successfully conducted another round of the Rehistro Bulilit Campaign at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parochial School. This initiative is part of the National ID system (PhilSys) and is specifically designed for children aged 1 to 4 years, ensuring that the youngest members of our community are included in the national registry.

The program aims to provide foundational identification for children, which will benefit them throughout their lives. Parents and guardians attended the event with enthusiasm, eager to register their children and take advantage of the streamlined registration process.

During the launch, Gasan Municipal Civil Registrar Maria Sofia R. Madronio shared the importance of accurate record-keeping for civil registry documents, including births, marriages, and deaths, to ensure legal recognition for individuals and families during significant life events. Following her presentation, PhilSys Focal Person Jiezel B. Janda elaborated on the significance of the PhilSys in establishing a unified and secure national identification system. PFP Janda highlighted the long-term benefits, such as improved access to government services, enhanced record-keeping, and a strengthened sense of identity for every citizen.

The event not only imparted valuable information but also cultivated a child-friendly atmosphere, offering engaging activities for both children and families. To enhance the experience for younger attendees, coloring materials, party hats, and a photo booth were readily available. The PhilSys team assisted parents throughout the registration process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience. Additionally, tokens were provided to children who completed their registration, further enriching their engagement.

As the Rehistro Bulilit program continues to be implemented nationwide, it represents a significant step toward inclusivity and modernization, bringing the vision of a comprehensive national ID system closer to reality. This forward-thinking initiative underscores the commitment of the PSA to serve every citizen, starting with the youngest, and paves the way for a future where identity verification is accessible to all.

As PhilSys continues to expand its implementation, parents and guardians interested in registering their children are encouraged to take the initiative and visit the Fixed Registration Center or visit our official Facebook page at www.facebook/PSA-Marinduque for PhilSys Mobile Registration Schedules.
