WHEREAS, Presidential Proclamation No. 647 declares the month of October of every year in observance of the National Statistics Month (NSM);

WHEREAS, the annual celebration of the NSM aims (a) to promote, enhance, and instill awareness and appreciation of the importance and value of statistics to the different sectors of society; and (b) to elicit the cooperation and support of the general public in upgrading the quality and standards of statistics in the country;

WHEREAS, The RSC, being the highest policy making body on statistical matters in the region, has been designated as the coordinating body for all the NSM activities in the region;

WHEREAS, in line with the preparation and in support of the 36th NSM celebration, RSC MIMAROPA was enjoined and regional line agencies, local government units, and state universities and colleges was requested to support the 36th National Statistics Month by providing lists of NSM activities that they plan to conduct;

NOW, THEREFORE, ON A MOTION DULY SECONDED, be it

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That RSC MIMAROPA approves to support the 36th National Statistics Month;

RESOLVED FINALLY, That the RSC member agencies will provide the list of their proposed NSM activities on the second week of July two thousand and twenty-five;

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
