WHEREAS, being the regional counterpart of the PSA Board, Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) provides direction and guidance to regional/local statistical development activities in support of the decentralization thrust of the government;
WHEREAS, PSA RSSO MIMAROPA will conduct the 2025 Regional Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Convention and Regional Data Festival on September 24-25, 2025 in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan;
WHEREAS, the 2025 Regional CBMS Convention and Regional Data Festival aims to explore the Community-Based Monitoring System as an effective development tool that provides valuable data for research and community improvement;
WHEREAS, the 2025 Regional CBMS Convention and Regional Data Festival will include presentations and open discussions, expositions, games, and contests;
WHEREAS, the theme of the event will be “Ready, Stat, Go! Building Agile, Resilient, and Future-Ready Filipino Communities through Data-Driven Systems”;
WHEREAS, the participants of the activities will include academe, Local Government Units (particularly those involved in the CBMS), RSC members, private institutions, local press/media, and PSA officials and representatives;
NOW, THEREFORE, ON A MOTION DULY SECONDED, be it
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that RSC MIMAROPA approves and supports the conduct of the 2025 Regional CBMS Convention and Regional Data Festival.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that CHED MIMAROPA endorses the conduct of the 2025 Regional CBMS Convention and Regional Data Festival to all Higher Education Institutions within the region.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that all agencies concerned be copied of this resolution for information and support.
