WHEREAS, the Philippine Statistical Act of 2013 (RA 10625) mandates the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) to establish Statistical Survey Review and Clearance System (SSRCS) to provide assistance and support to the statistical work of government agencies in the Philippine Statistical System, including the local government units (LGUs) and the government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs);

WHEREAS, Rule No. 28 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the RA 10625, mandates the PSA to be involved in the evaluation of surveys or censuses sponsored and/or to be conducted by government agencies at the national and local level;

WHEREAS, the SSRCS is a mechanism institutionalized by the PSA which involves the process of evaluating the design and instruments of statistical surveys or censuses sponsored and/or to be conducted by government agencies including government corporations at the national and/or subnational level;

WHEREAS, the main objectives of SSRCS are the following: 1) to ensure conformity with standard definitions, concepts and classifications; and 2) to attain reliability, comparability and accuracy of statistics generated out of said surveys and/or censuses;

WHEREAS, last 04 February 2025, the Statistical Standards Division of the PSA requested the regional line agencies, GOCCs, and LGUs to identify and list the surveys regularly conducted and/or to be conducted by their agency;

WHEREAS, as of 30 April 2025, only the Department of Agrarian Reform MIMAROPA, Provincial Planning and Development Office of Occidental Mindoro, and City Environment and Natural Resources Office of Puerto Princesa City submitted their list of surveys regularly conducted and/or to be conducted;

NOW, THEREFORE, ON A MOTION DULY SECONDED, be it

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That RSC MIMAROPA approves and supports the Statistical Survey Review and Clearance System.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that all agencies concerned be copied of this resolution for information and support.
