12 March 2024 - ROMBLON, ROMBLON. Provincial Product Accounts – Romblon conducted technical visits to Local Government units to collect administrative data form which are the list of all establishment, top 25 establishment, and the list of businesses that belong to informal sector in support to this year’s estimation of the Regional Accounts of the Philippines (RAP) which includes Gross Regional Domestic Products (GRDP) and the Gross Regional Domestic Expenditures (GRDE). The purpose of this visitation is to speed up the collection of the data by providing assistance to Business Licensing Officers in filling out the administrative form and help them in identifying the right PSIC code per establishment.

 

Below are the dates of technical visits for the following Municipalities of Romblon;

 

RAP provides planners, policy makers and users a description and assessment of the overall performance of the economy in the region in a given period. It includes the compilation of statistical indicators on different sectors of the economy from various sources such as census and survey results, administrative records of government and private establishments.

Regional Statistics Committee Resolution No. 2017-03 proposed to request support from the LGUs of MIMAROPA in collecting data for the estimation of the GRDP. Data will be used as validation parameters of GRDP estimates for year 2021 to 2023 in MIMAROPA.
