Support to the Conduct of Training on Parliamentary Procedure for RSC Members in Support of Statistical Advocacies

WHEREAS, being the regional counterpart of the PSA Board, Regional Statistics Committee (RSC) provides direction and guidance to regional/local statistical development activities in support of the decentralization thrust of the government;

WHEREAS, parliamentary procedure defines the democratic process of decision-making within a group. Its purpose is to allow for fair, free, and equitable discussion of any motion or proposal brought to a group.

WHEREAS, RSC meetings are being conducted using Parliamentary Procedure;

WHEREAS, this training will enhance the knowledge of RSC members in making decisions effectively and efficiently, while ensuring fairness towards the minority and giving each member or delegate of their respective institutions the right to voice an opinion.

NOW, THEREFORE, ON A MOTION DULY SECONDED, be it

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That RSC MIMAROPA approves and supports the Conduct of Training on Parliamentary Procedure for RSC members.

RESOLVED FINALLY, that all agencies concerned be copied of this resolution for information and support.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
